Can I put my anal prolapse back in by myself?

When anal prolapse occurs, some of them can retract on their own. If it cannot be retracted on its own, it must be retracted promptly with manual repositioning to prevent the prolapse from taking too long and causing congestion, oedema or necrosis of the prolapse.
The general procedure for repositioning by manipulation.
Firstly, clean the prolapse with 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution, apply an appropriate amount of liquid paraffin on the surface, take the elbow and knee position, do not do deep inspiration, gently massage the soft tissues around the anus to keep the anal sphincter in a relaxed state, and insert the prolapse into the anus from near to far.
Prompt medical attention should be sought after retraction and early standardised treatment should be received.
