High cholinesterase

Cholinesterase belongs to glycoprotein, which is mainly synthesized by liver, and when cholinesterase is high, it usually indicates mild abnormal liver function. Normally we say cholinesterase mainly refers to serum cholinesterase, which is synthesized by liver cells, when liver cells are damaged, presenting elevated serum cholinesterase, and elevated cholinesterase and the severity of liver injury, with a certain degree of correlation, commonly found in acute viral hepatitis, alcoholic hepatitis, cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis and other liver function injury. When cholinesterase is elevated, it is important to monitor cholinesterase on a regular basis and correctly assess liver function to clarify the cause of the elevated cholinesterase, and then treat it accordingly in a timely manner to avoid delaying the condition.
