Signs of Liver Cancer in Men

There is no such thing as “signs of liver cancer in men” because early symptoms of liver cancer are not obvious. Symptoms of liver cancer include: pain in liver area, back pain, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, fever, jaundice, ascites and so on. Liver cancer is divided into two categories: primary and secondary. Early symptoms of primary liver cancer are not obvious. Epidemiological studies show that liver cancer is more common in men than women, and it is closely related to hepatitis B virus infection, aflatoxin contamination, alcoholic cirrhosis and so on. Early symptoms of male liver cancer patients are mostly atypical, and they may have digestive symptoms, such as fullness and bloating, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, etc., which are easy to be neglected. Typical symptoms are pain in liver area, which is persistent hidden pain, distension or stabbing pain, and aggravated at night or by exertion. Some are characterized by pain in the lower back. Some of them are accompanied by fatigue and fever, and the application of antibiotics for fever is usually ineffective. Jaundice and ascites are mostly symptoms in middle and late stages. Hepatocellular carcinoma is highly malignant, easy to recur and metastasize, and most of the cases are found in the middle or late stage, and the overall prognosis is not very good. Therefore, one should consult doctor in time for early targeted treatment.
