Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome may present with ascites, enlarged ovaries, etc. Symptomatic treatments such as rehydration, correction of blood volume, correction of hypoproteinemia, correction of electrolytes, and relief of abdominal distension are needed. Patients with ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome with large amount of ascites or pleural fluid, decreased urine output, and ovary diameter greater than 10cm are in severe condition, and hospitalization is generally recommended. After admission, correct blood volume, correct hypoproteinemia, and monitor electrolytes regularly to maintain electrolyte balance, and puncture and drainage can be used if pleural fluid, ascites, and obvious symptoms are more frequent. Ovarian hyperstimulation is one of the main complications of assisted reproduction technology after ovulation stimulation treatment, if there is rapid weight gain after ovulation, gastrointestinal discomfort, chest tightness, little or no urine and other discomforts should be timely hospital consultation.
