The location of a man’s prostate gland

The prostate gland in men is located in the pelvic cavity, below the bladder and above the urethral membrane sphincter, and resembles a slightly flattened chestnut in shape and size. The prostate is the accessory glands of the male reproductive system, for the unpaired substantial glands, located between the bladder and the urogenital diaphragm, encircling the root of the urethra, the shape and size of which resembles a slightly flattened chestnut. The upper end is broad, the lower end is pointed and thin, the back of the body is flat, close to the rectum, and can be palpated by rectal palpation. The longitudinal diameter is 3cm, transverse diameter is 4cm, anterior-posterior diameter is 2cm, and it weighs about 20g. The prostatic capsule is located deep in the prostate on the dorsal side of the urethra, and is a large blind capsule that opens into the seminal vesicle. Its epithelium is similar to that of the prostatic vesicles, sometimes ciliated, and often has many folds and gland-like depressions. When there is a disease, the prostate may be inflamed or hyperplastic, it is recommended to go to the hospital for timely examination and diagnosis, timely treatment.
