What stretch marks look like

Stretch marks are usually irregular stripes of pink, fuchsia, and white. Stretch marks are common in pregnant women, and will appear skin expansion lines. The cause of their formation is mostly related to the breakage and damage of the elastic and collagen fibers of the skin, and they are commonly found on the abdomen, buttocks, arms and other places. Typical symptoms are light red, pink, purplish red irregular longitudinal cracks or wavy patterns on the local skin. With the growth of time, the broken elastic fibers will be repaired by themselves, and the local stripes will gradually fade and then form white stripes. If the above symptoms appear on the local skin, it is considered to be related to stretch marks, and patients are advised to go to a regular hospital to consult a doctor about the matter.
