Sore throat, runny nose and sneezing need to be determined in conjunction with nucleic acid testing, recent exposure history, and chest CT examination to determine if it is a neocoronavirus infection, which cannot be determined by clinical presentation alone. There are many possible causes of sore throat, runny nose and sneezing, such as influenza. Influenza is caused by infection with the influenza virus and not by a new coronavirus infection. Since the above symptoms can also occur with Neocoronavirus infection, it is recommended that when one suspects Neocoronavirus infection and has a history of exposure, it is recommended that a nucleic acid test be performed to determine this. If there is no history of exposure, other diseases such as influenza may be considered.
