Is it normal to get a hernia at 30?

It is not normal to get a hernia at any age. 30 years of age is the age when hernias have a high incidence, and you need to actively cooperate with your doctor after being diagnosed with a hernia.
Hernias can occur at any age. Young adults in their 30s are susceptible to abdominal wall hernias due to increased pressure in the abdominal cavity as a result of frequent physical activity. Common abdominal wall hernias include inguinal hernia, direct hernia, umbilical hernia, abdominal wall incisional hernia, etc. Among them, inguinal hernias are more common in young adults, i.e., around the age of 30 years, most of them suffer from inguinal hernia.
After the diagnosis of hernia at the age of 30, it should be treated with surgery in a timely manner to avoid gradual aggravation of the condition, or even the emergence of incarcerated hernia and other serious situations.
It is recommended that people diagnosed with hernia at the age of 30 adjust their mindset, actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment, avoid weight-bearing activities, and treat long-term constipation and coughing.
