Does advanced cancer cause fever?

It is entirely possible for cancer patients to have fever after advanced stage. There are mainly two kinds of fever in cancer patients, as follows: First, tumor fever, which refers to the fever induced by necrosis of tumor cells or secretion of certain substances after exclusion of infectious factors, and the characteristics of this fever appear in the afternoon or evening, which is more regular and continuous, and the fever temperature is generally not too high, probably within 38℃, at most no more than 38.5℃ at most, and the general anti-infection or other anti-inflammatory treatment has no effect. Secondly, cancer patients in advanced stage are easily infected because of their weak constitution and poor immunity, often accompanied by fever, which is the same as ordinary infection. Either way, the fever brings some pain to cancer patients. In conclusion, it is possible for patients with advanced cancer to have fever, which is a relatively common phenomenon.
