What’s wrong with a pregnant belly that’s tilted to one side?



Pregnant stomach tilted on one side may be caused by uterine rightward rotation, different fetal position, pelvic inlet narrowing and other reasons.

1. The uterus is rotated to the right: the left rear of the uterus is occupied by the sigmoid colon, which will make the uterus rotate to the right, and the uterus is enlarged and rotated to the right in the late stage of pregnancy, which will make the stomach crooked on one side.

2. Fetal position is different: after pregnancy, the fetus is in the left occipital anterior, right occipital anterior position, the fetal position is on the side of the pregnant woman, and the stomach will be crooked on one side when lying on the side.

3. Pelvic inlet stenosis: some pregnant women have pelvic stenosis problem in late pregnancy, there will be pelvic inlet plane narrowing, the fetal head to enter the pelvis to fall more difficult, causing the first dew high floating, pregnant women’s stomach will be crooked on one side.

There are many reasons why a pregnant woman’s stomach may be tilted to one side, but as long as there is no obvious discomfort and the results of the labor and delivery test are normal, there is no need for special treatment.
