Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae has the effect of strengthening the spleen and dispelling dampness; Fenghuang has the effect of dispelling wind; Radix Pseudostellariae has the effect of warming the meridians and opening up the veins; and Glycyrrhiza glabra harmonizes all the herbs. The combination of all the herbs can help to dispel wind and dampness, and promote Yang circulation and paralysis. Gui Zhi Shi Paeoniae Zhi Mu Tang can be used to treat pain in the joints of the limbs, weakness, swollen feet, dizziness, shortness of breath, reddish tongue with white fur, and moistened pulse due to blockage of the meridians by wind and dampness.
