Itching of the glans after intercourse may be the result of inflammatory infection. The vast majority may be because the woman has mycosis vaginalis, and the man does not wash in time after intercourse. The mycobacteria on the glans are encased by the foreskin at night, and overnight it causes the glans to become red, with red spots, swelling and itching. As the inflammation increases over time, there may be white membranous material on the glans and even tofu-like changes. Patients are advised to clean the foreskin and, if necessary, go to the hospital for a bacterial smear to look for the presence of mycobacteria. If there is, use Dacronin, Fluconazole, etc. to apply on the glans, usually 3-5 days to achieve clinical cure. It is recommended that women should be checked for the presence of mycotic vaginitis and if so they need to be treated early.
