What is the chest pain?

There are many causes of chest pain, such as acute coronary syndrome, pneumothorax, pericarditis, aortic coarctation, pulmonary embolism, esophagitis and other diseases, which can cause chest pain. The specific treatment plan to be used should be determined after a clear diagnosis is made based on the condition, symptoms and relevant examinations. Patients with acute coronary syndrome are mainly given medication according to their condition, such as nitroglycerin, clopidogrel hydrogen sulfate, statins, urokinase thrombolysis, and also surgical treatment, such as coronary artery bypass surgery, and interventional treatment such as coronary artery stent implantation. When the chest pain is diagnosed to be caused by pneumothorax, pleural puncture and aspiration, closed chest drainage or surgical treatment can be given. If it is caused by esophagitis, drugs that inhibit gastric acid secretion and protect the gastric mucosa, such as rabeprazole and magnesium aluminum carbonate, can be given.
