Sex Hormone Six Program

Sex hormone 6 test includes follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, estradiol, progesterone, prolactin and androgen. It is recommended to draw blood for the test on the second or third day of menstruation, and the result can be referred to the follicular phase. First, if follicle stimulating hormone is elevated, it means that ovarian function has begun to decline. Second, if the ratio of luteinizing hormone to upper follicle stimulating hormone is >2, polycystic ovary syndrome is suspected clinically. Again, if it is a decrease in estradiol, it is likely that there is a decrease in menstrual flow and a thin endometrium. Then, if there is an increase in prolactin, there may be hyperprolactinemia with breast spillage. Also, if there is an increase in androgens, the patient may have weight gain and other signs of polycystic ovary syndrome.
