What is frozen shoulder disease?

Frozen shoulder is a common orthopedic disorder among middle-aged and elderly people, and is also known as “50 shoulder” because it occurs in people around 50 years old. The cause of frozen shoulder is not well understood, with about 80% of the population unable to determine the cause. The course of the disease can be divided into three stages: the early stage, the frozen stage and the recovery stage. Frozen shoulder is common among people under 50 years of age because the muscles and ligaments of the shoulder are in a state of tension due to the long-term ambulatory work of office workers. Therefore, people should take the initiative to learn about the prevention and treatment of frozen shoulder during their middle age.
