Chronic non-atrophic gastritis, also called chronic superficial gastritis, is one of the most common manifestations in gastroscopy reports. If the patient only has a physical examination for gastroscopy without upper abdominal symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, acid reflux, heartburn, abdominal pain, and without these symptoms, he or she can be treated without medication and can eat a light diet with many meals. If a patient is diagnosed with chronic non-atrophic gastritis and has upper abdominal symptoms such as acid reflux, heartburn, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, he or she should take medications such as acid suppressants, gastrointestinal motility drugs and digestive aids.
