What is chronic erythematous allogastritis

Chronic erythematous gastritis is a common form of chronic gastritis that is characterized by red, florid changes in the gastric lining, hence the name erythematous gastritis. In principle, the treatment of this gastritis is not fundamentally different from other chronic gastritis and requires consideration of the cause of H. pylori infection. If the H. pylori infection is positive, it can be eradicated with a quadruple drug therapy, commonly used in combination with a proton pump inhibitor, two sensitive antimicrobials plus bismuth. Medication should be accompanied by dietary modification, avoiding spicy, stimulating foods such as chili, raw onion, raw garlic, and mustard. Avoid eating foods that are too hot, too cold, or difficult to digest, and do not smoke, drink alcohol, or drink strong tea or coffee.
