How to effectively prevent the recurrence of urinary stones?

Although urinary stones have a high incidence, but as long as we pay more attention from the diet, it can play a good preventive role. First of all, we should pay attention to the structure of the diet, as there is a relationship between the production of urinary stones and the structure of the diet. Therefore, attention to adjusting the dietary structure can prevent the recurrence of stones. Adopting a high fiber diet, it is generally believed that patients with kidney stones should preferably eat less salt and animal protein. Depending on the composition of urinary stones, different dietary regimens should be adopted. For example, patients with calcium oxalate stones should eat less food with high calcium oxalate content, such as spinach, tomatoes, potatoes, strawberries, etc. A low purine diet should be used for uric acid stones and a low methionine diet should be used for cystic acid stones. Fruits and vegetables can turn urine alkaline, which is better for preventing uric acid and cystine stones, and meat foods make urine acidic, which is better for preventing infection stones. A low calcium and low phosphorus diet is used for phosphate stones. It is advisable to avoid a diet high in calcium, salt, oxalic acid, animal protein, animal fat and sugar for calcium-containing kidney stones. However, it is important to note that the points of prevention differ for stones of different composition and differ greatly in dietary regulation. Therefore, patients must first know what kind of stones they have in order to effectively prevent them.
