What’s wrong with appendicitis flatulence and pain?

Appendicitis bloating pain is usually caused by inflammation spreading to the intestines. When appendicitis develops in the appendix due to a bacterial infection, the appendix oozes a large amount of inflammatory discharge. Because the physical location of the appendix is on the lower right side of the abdomen, between the cecum and ileum, and its root is connected to the posterior medial wall of the cecum. Therefore, inflammation of the appendix can easily spread to the surrounding intestines, leading to intestinal dysfunction. When inflammation also occurs in the intestines, the peristaltic function of the intestines may be weakened, resulting in the inability to empty the intestinal contents in a timely manner. Fermentation of large amounts of contents in the intestines can release gas, which can lead to painful flatulence in patients. If a patient with appendicitis is suffering from painful flatulence, he or she needs to seek medical attention and be treated by a medical professional on a case-by-case basis.
