Can medical saline be applied to the face?

Medical saline can be used on the face, mainly to treat oozing and swollen rashes. If the face is oozing and swollen due to allergies, saline can be given as a wet compress to effectively reduce swelling and oozing. The wet compress is applied by pouring saline on 4-6 layers of gauze with a semi-dry, non-dripping humidity for 10-20 minutes each time, twice a day. Because the lesions have redness and oozing, cream should not be used, otherwise it will lead to aggravation of the rash, at this time, saline and boric acid solution can be given as wet compresses. If there is an infected lesion, you can also give a wet compress of Ravnol solution or furacilin solution. If it is for moisturizing, it is not recommended to use medical saline for the face, you can choose cosmetics for facial moisturizing.
