Swelling after gadfly stings is considered as insect bite dermatitis, which can be alleviated by general treatment, topical medication, oral medication and so on.

3. Oral medicines: you can take anti-allergic medicines such as loratadine, olopatadine hydrochloride, levocetirizine hydrochloride, etc. If the symptoms are serious and the lesions are extensive, you can take oral glucocorticosteroids such as prednisone for a short period of time.
