Headaches caused by tooth extraction usually heal in a few days

  The causes of headache after tooth extraction are different, and the time and method of recovery also vary from person to person.  Generally speaking, headache is not easy to appear after tooth extraction. If headache appears, the following two cases are mainly considered: 1. Ordinary headache: . It is caused by the low immunity or poor rest after tooth extraction, etc. The headache symptom is usually not serious, and the patient will usually get better after 1-2 days after taking a good rest. 2. Dry socket: It usually occurs 2-3 days after tooth extraction, with severe pain and putrid smell in the extraction wound, and the pain can be radiated to the head, ear-temporal, jaw and other parts. This headache is more pronounced and requires medical attention for debridement as soon as possible, which will gradually ease after treatment and generally recover in about 2 weeks.  It is recommended that after tooth extraction, one must rest well and not stay up late or overwork, thus affecting the healing of the wound; if similar symptoms of dry socket as mentioned above occur, one needs to seek medical attention for treatment in a timely manner.
