Difference between ultrasonography and radiography

There is a big difference between ultrasonography and X-ray imaging. Ultrasonography has a greater advantage than X-ray imaging in diagnosing the accuracy of uterine cavity diseases such as adhesions, polyps, fibroids, etc. Ultrasonography has a certain therapeutic effect, which can play a role in unblocking the fallopian tubes. The ultrasound contrast agent can be absorbed in a short period of time without allergic reaction, whereas the iodized oil used in X-ray contrast may cause allergic reaction. Since ultrasonography passes well and causes little damage to the fallopian tubes and uterus, you can prepare for pregnancy within one month after ultrasonography, while X-ray imaging requires three months of contraception. Ultrasonography is not radioactive and the disadvantage of ultrasonography is that it is more painful than X-ray.
