Papillary thyroid cancer, or papillary thyroid cancer, can come back even after total excision. Papillary carcinoma is the main type of thyroid cancer. For papillary carcinoma, treatment is based on surgery and supplemented by other treatment modalities. Papillary thyroid cancer may recur even after total thyroidectomy. Papillary carcinoma has the best prognosis among all types of thyroid cancer, which is well differentiated and least malignant, but it may recur after surgery. This may be because the lesion has not been completely removed or the cancer has metastasized but is not cleanly cleared.
