How long does it take for nasopharyngeal cancer to pass the danger stage

Currently, 5-year survival rate is commonly used in clinical practice to roughly assess the prognosis of patients, and usually there is no danger period. 5-year survival rate refers to the proportion of patients who survive for more than 5 years after active treatment, and patients who have no recurrence after 5 years can generally be regarded as clinically cured. Due to different severity of disease and individual physical condition, it is impossible to assess how long it takes for nasopharyngeal cancer patients to pass the danger period. According to statistics, the 5-year survival rate of patients with stage I nasopharyngeal cancer is 95%, stage II nasopharyngeal cancer is 85%, stage III nasopharyngeal cancer is 68%, and stage IV nasopharyngeal cancer is about 50%. It is suggested that patients should seek medical treatment in time after the onset of disease and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize medication and treatment to improve the quality of survival.
