Is it normal to have stabbing pain while recovering from a fractured heel?

It is normal to have stabbing pain while recovering from a heel fracture. It may be related to soft tissue pulling, fracture surface pain, and poor blood circulation.
1. Soft tissue pulling: During the treatment of heel fracture, because of the long time of braking and fixation, it will lead to the adhesion of local soft tissues such as fascia and ligaments, etc. In the functional exercise, it will cause corresponding pain and tingling due to the pulling of soft tissues.
2. Fracture surface pain: due to the fracture of the heel bone, there will be tingling due to the reaction when moving.
3. Inadequate blood circulation: due to prolonged lying in bed and less activity, it will lead to poor venous return, restricted blood return, and increased tension in the interstitial space of the tissues thus leading to tingling.
Related patients who have any discomfort are recommended to go to the hospital in time.
