Aminogalactosidase is a hydrolytic enzyme normally present in the body. Galactosidase in urine can reflect damage to the renal tubules, while aminogalactosidase in routine female leukorrhea screening is an indicator of inflammatory gynecological disease. When a woman’s leukorrhea is positive for aminogalactosidase, it indicates that the protective vaginal mucin barrier has been destroyed and that the vaginal environment is susceptible to infection or has been infected by pathogenic microorganisms. Of course, the specific situation needs to be analyzed in conjunction with the clinical symptoms and other results of the routine leucorrhea examination. If there is already an infectious disease in the vagina, appropriate medication should be chosen according to the type of pathogenic microorganism.
