Is it normal not to feel a lump with breast cancer?

It is normal that a lump cannot be felt in breast cancer. Many patients with early stage breast cancer cannot feel the lump during breast palpation because the cancerous lesions are relatively small and have not yet formed a large lump, which cannot be touched by hand. However, during breast palpation, symptoms of pain in the affected area may occur. If breast cancer is suspected, simple breast palpation is not able to diagnose the disease well, and it is recommended to improve breast color ultrasound, molybdenum target and other related examinations to clarify the condition. At present, the commonly used clinical treatments for breast cancer include surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy and so on. Clinicians will take into account the patient’s specific condition and develop a personalized treatment plan.
