What happened to the tail bone sticking up?

The tailbone, also known as the coccyx, can have both congenital and acquired causes if there is a significant deformity of the tailbone. Most congenital causes are seen in congenital malformations of the tailbone development, such as hooked tailbone. It is also directly related to acquired trauma because of the special anatomical structure of the tailbone, which can cause tailbone misalignment or malformation healing when squatting with force. Although this part is not involved in the body weight-bearing, it can cause tailbone pain when sitting or standing because of its special anatomical structure. If there is a serious tailbone fracture, frequent sitting and standing may also lead to malunion or even non-union of the fracture, which may later lead to tailbone deformity and, in severe cases, an upward appearance. For tailbone misalignment or tailbone fracture, it is important to strictly rest in bed and minimize sitting and standing.
