Based on the current epidemiologic investigation, novel coronavirus pneumonia is characterized by fever, malaise, and dry cough, and severe cases tend to develop respiratory distress after one week. Therefore, if there is fever, axillary temperature ≥38℃, cough mainly dry cough, as well as history of traveling or living in Wuhan area 14 days before the onset of illness, there is a possibility of being infected by novel coronavirus.
