Cancer linked to poor diet? What are the ways of healthy eating and prevention?

In recent times, I have been getting bad news about friends and acquaintances suffering from cancer, and I can’t help but feel heavy. Therefore, raising awareness and staying away from cancer can no longer be a slogan, but must be practically implemented into the details of life. In fact, cancer can be prevented. According to the World Health Organization, cancer is also a lifestyle disease. Adhering to a lifestyle of non-smoking, healthy diet, moderate exercise and prevention and control of related infections can prevent 40% of cancers; advocating a healthy lifestyle and staying away from risk factors is the first priority of cancer prevention. A healthy lifestyle should be: 1. Quit smoking and limit alcohol; 2. Exercise moderately and keep a good mind; 3. Eat reasonably and maintain a normal weight; 4. Get relevant vaccines, such as hepatitis B vaccine and cervical cancer vaccine (HPV vaccine); 5. Keep the surrounding environment hygienic and reduce pollution. Stay away from jobs with heavy pollution such as decoration, baking paint and leather. Because health is much more important than temporary salary; 6. Adult women often do breast self-examination and regular cervical cancer cytology examination. Stay away from tobacco Smoking is the main cause of lung, throat, oral cavity, pharynx and esophageal cancers, and is a contributing factor to bladder, pancreatic, liver, cervical, kidney, stomach, colorectal and certain leukemias. Healthy diet The occurrence of many cancers is closely related to unhealthy diet, such as esophageal cancer, liver cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, etc. Healthy diet includes: 1. Less smoked, pickled, soaked and fried foods, such as nitrite treated meat, smoked food and kimchi, etc. 2.Eat less overly hot, salty and hard foods, and limit salt intake (including salt-cured foods or foods processed with salt). 3, avoid sugary drinks, limit the intake of high sugar, low fiber, high fat, meat foods. 4.Avoid excessive consumption of red meat (such as beef, pork and lamb) and processed meat products. 5.Drink less alcoholic beverages (to prevent the occurrence of throat cancer, esophageal cancer, liver cancer, etc.). 6.Do not eat moldy cereals and legumes, such as moldy peanut rice, corn, soybeans, etc. 7.Less use of spicy condiments, such as cinnamon, fennel, pepper, and meat pith. 8.Emphasize meeting nutritional needs through the diet itself and do not use nutritional supplements to prevent cancer. 9.Eat more different kinds of fresh vegetables, fruits, beans and mushroom foods (to increase the vitamins in the body and inhibit the reproduction of cancer cells). 10.Eat more foods rich in dietary fiber, such as carrots, celery, lettuce and other vegetables. Prevention and treatment of related viral and bacterial infections The World Health Organization announced that one fifth of cancers worldwide are caused by chronic infections, such as human papilloma virus causing cervical cancer, hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus associated with the occurrence of liver cancer, and Helicobacter pylori associated with stomach cancer. Therefore, the prevention of these cancers should be done by: 1. Timely vaccination against hepatitis B virus infection. Infection with hepatitis B virus should be treated with regular antiviral therapy. 2.Using condoms can prevent human papilloma virus infection. 3, develop good dietary hygiene habits to prevent H. pylori infection. Helicobacter pylori infection should be actively treated.
