What does Jarrowa do?

The drug name of Jarova is otuzumab, which works by binding to CD20 antigen and mediating B-cell lysis for the treatment of follicular lymphoma. Otuzumab is a monoclonal antibody that targets the CD20 antigen expressed on the surface of pre-B lymphocytes and mature B lymphocytes and mediates B-cell lysis through an immune response. The drug is indicated for use in combination with chemotherapy for the maintenance of adult patients with first-treatment stage II follicular lymphoma with a large mass, stage III or stage IV, who have achieved at least partial remission. Adverse reactions to otuzumab include infusion-related reactions such as nausea and vomiting, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, and leukopenia. It is contraindicated in people who are allergic to the drug. Otuzumab can improve the quality of survival and reduce recurrence in patients with follicular lymphoma, and patients are advised to follow the doctor’s instructions for active treatment to improve the prognosis.
