The most troublesome disease for men – genital herpes

In the clinic, I often encounter patients who complain that “every time I get a few small blisters on my penis, they break the skin, crust over and clear up in a week or so. But as soon as you drink, stay up late, catch a cold, or get tired, it appears in the same place.” It is very distressing that this condition should be one of the sexually transmitted diseases, genital herpes now. 1. What is genital herpes? Genital herpes is an acute viral herpes disease that occurs at the junction of the skin and mucous membranes caused by the herpes simplex (mainly type 2) virus, and is classified as a sexually transmitted disease because the main means of transmission is sexual intercourse. The incubation period is 2 to 10 days. First, erythematous spots appear at the skin-mucous membrane junction, burning and itching, usually without pain; then small blisters of pinhead size and clusters appear on the erythematous spots, rupture and become small ulcers, if not infected (note: genital herpes is more easily infected after rupture!) It will crust over, fall off and heal. The duration of the disease is about a week, and the duration of the disease will be prolonged for those who are infected. 2. Why does genital herpes recur? The herpes simplex virus infection can only produce antibodies to neutralize some of the virus, but it is impossible to completely remove the virus, so as long as the immune system is low, the virus will reproduce actively and stimulate genital herpes. The actual fact is that you will find a lot of people who have been in the same place and in the same way, so some people may wonder why they have blisters in the same place once they drink, stay up late, catch a cold, or get tired. 3. Can genital herpes be cured? It is strictly impossible to cure genital herpes completely because it is impossible for the muscles to get rid of the virus completely, and the muscles cannot get lifelong immunity and may be infected with herpes simplex virus again. The best way to treat and prevent recurrence of genital herpes is to improve immunity and reduce or control recurrence. 4. How to prevent genital herpes? The main way genital herpes is transmitted is through sexual intercourse. So, the fundamental prevention method is to be clean and not to have extramarital and impure sex. The actual fact is that you will be able to get a lot more than just a few of the most popular and most popular products.
