Now, the incidence of frozen shoulder is on the rise. However, in many hospitals, especially in township hospitals, the doctor acupuncture treatment for this disease is less than five or six needles, more than seven or eight needles, the effect is not very satisfactory. Moreover, the clinical image of the needle is very common, some doctors themselves are oblivious to the useful points and useless points but zap, effective invalid pray to the gods. The result is that the patient has not gone to the old disease and steeply increased the pain of acupuncture, suffering! If so, the doctor will not be heartbroken? A needle, two needles can solve the problem, why more needles.
As the old saying goes: manipulate a thousand songs and know the sound, watch a thousand swords and know the weapon. Today, we will start from the case of Chinese Acupuncture (1996.(9):16) about taking Fenglong point and using giant prick to rule frozen shoulder.
METHODS: The patient was seated, and the Fenglong point on the healthy side was routinely disinfected. The patient was disinfected on the healthy side of the Fenglong point. The patient was stabbed with a 28-30 5-inch milli-needle into the subcutaneous area, and the tip of the needle was stabbed into the Feiyang point, and the patient felt a warm sensation in the point or throughout the body. Reflections and Controversies.
(a) Frozen shoulder is a condition of deficiency and deficiency of the liver and kidney. The Yangming meridian is the foot Yangming stomach meridian and the hand Yangming large intestine meridian, both of which are full of gas and blood. (5) When discussing the treatment of frozen shoulder, Master Gao chose Yanglingquan, Jokou, Fish Shoulder, Sanma, Houxi, and Shuangbone points to illustrate the wonders of one-needle therapy. This time, without trying to be shallow, I would like to add the points that have not been completed in the selection of acupuncture points for periarthritis, in order to teach my colleagues.
(1) Pre-shoulder pain: Master Gao said that acupuncture points for pre-shoulder pain can be used for quick results. This is clinically proven to be true. But there is a premise here, the earlier the onset of acupuncture, the greater the effect, preferably within a month. Practice also proves that in the needle fish shoulder point at the same time needle the same side of the Hegu point effect will be even higher, a point with diarrhea, a point with tonic, a point to treat the symptoms, a point to treat the root, the law is strict, the effect will be specialized! (Note: suitable for the fish shoulder point of frozen shoulder can also use Peng Jing Shan’s head and tail point method, the so-called different ways to the same!)
Here is another question, how to choose points for shoulder pain for more than one month or longer? At this point, you can choose the Lijiao point or the Sanyinjiao point or the Yinlingquan point. My clinical experience is that if there is only pain but no shoulder joint dysfunction, it will be cured faster. For this type of frozen shoulder, in addition to the distal acupuncture points, we often perform localized plum blossom acupuncture and cupping or localized fire acupuncture on the painful point, which is more effective! This is also true for other types of frozen shoulder.
(2) Pain near the shoulder k point: choose the second or third interval point or the ipsilateral thigh point or the contralateral Liangqiu point or the Fenglong point or the Zuokou point. Theoretically, all the points of the foot Yangming Stomach meridian can be used to treat frozen shoulder. The abdominal acupuncture therapy created by Mr. Bo Zhiyun often uses the Zhonggui point (deep stabbing) + the Sliding Meat Gate point with the Shangqu point to treat frozen shoulder, which is similar to this one!
(3) Pain in the vicinity of the shoulder s point: check the zhu point or the jade bone point or the Yanglingquan point.
(4) Pain near the shoulder chastity point: choose the tarsal point.
(5) Pain at night: select the Zhaoxia point.
(6) Pain in the scapular suture: choose the Qiu Hui point through the Zhao Hai point.
(7) Pain behind the shoulder: select Houxi point or Carpal Tunnel point or Kunlun point.
(8) Stubborn frozen shoulder: select Ankylosing point.
The above method of selecting acupuncture points for the treatment of frozen shoulder, although only one point is selected, the clinical effect is far better than the traditional acupuncture method, and also better than Jin San. The effect of the treatment of frozen shoulder is as amazing as when Chang Shan Zhao Zilong took the general’s head in the army of ten thousand horses at Chang Ban Po. If promoted, patients will suffer less flesh and blood, and the cost of treatment will be reduced for those who have difficulty.
