Early symptoms of epilepsy in babies

The types and manifestations of childhood epilepsy vary at different ages, such as infantile spasms, almost within 1 year of age; motor seizures onset within 6 years of age; disoriented seizures onset mostly within 1-8 years of age; and the age of first onset of all other types of epilepsy also mostly within 10 years of age. There are many manifestation symptoms of pediatric epilepsy, the more typical ones are convulsions and unconsciousness. Special manifestations are easily overlooked or misdiagnosed, for example, some infants just have a few brief twitches and roll their eyes; some adolescent children just appear to wander briefly and blink their eyelids. Therefore, epilepsy should be detected and diagnosed early, and treated early, and the seizures can be better controlled with systematic and regular treatment.
