How about pediatric enemas

There is no such thing as a good or bad pediatric enema. When needed, enemas must be given. Any kind of treatment, any kind of medicine has its effects and side effects, there is no completely good or completely bad. Pediatric enemas are mainly used to treat diarrhea, colds, fever, and most importantly, constipation. If the stool is dry, hard and difficult to expel, you can only use a corked or saline enema to make the coarse, hard stool loose and easy to expel. The skin mucosa of children is fragile and easily damaged, so the enema must be gentle and the enema tube must be soft to avoid bleeding caused by puncturing the rectal mucosa and tearing the skin at the anal opening to cause anal fissures.
