The treatment of foot dampness includes internal and external treatments, of which external treatments are categorized into three cases according to the type of skin lesions. 1. Except for the dampness and toxicity evidence which needs internal treatment method to clear heat and relieve dampness and detoxification, internal treatment is generally not needed. The symptoms of dampness-poisoning syndrome are intensive blisters on the feet, vesicles between the toes immersed in patches, fetid odor, itching and pain, etc. Dioxide dampness-expelling soup can be used with the addition of Wushen Tang. 2. For blistering type foot wetness, use No.1 ringworm medicated water, No.2 ringworm medicated water, compound hibiscus bark tincture, etc.; for vesiculation type, use 1:1500 potassium permanganate solution, 3% boric acid solution, or two alums soup for 15 minutes, and then use dermatophyte ointment or andrographolite ointment to apply externally; for desquamated type, use the above ointment to apply externally, and use dipping agent for soaking. If there is a need for medication, it should be used under the guidance of a doctor’s diagnosis, and should not be used blindly on its own, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
