Do you still need to isolate after the nucleic acid test?

The need for isolation after nucleic acid testing is related to the epidemiological characteristics such as a history of suspected contact with a confirmed novel coronavirus patient, presence in a high-risk area, and a history of epidemiology and foreign travel and residence. If these characteristics are present, isolation is still required after the nucleic acid test, which usually takes 24-48 hours for the results to be available. For high-risk populations, a single negative nucleic acid test does not completely rule out the disease. False negatives are possible because of the nucleic acid collection specimen, so it is recommended to retest the nucleic acid again after 24 hours.
