What’s wrong with pimples and pus on the scalp?

Pimples and pustules on the scalp are considered to be folliculitis. On top of the pimples and pustules, folliculitis papules can be seen, and some of the rashes can show purulent oozing after scratching, as well as pus crusts with stinging pain. If the infection is more severe, a generalized fever can also occur, which can reach about 39.5°C. The clinical treatment requires anti-infection treatment, which can be administered with penicillin sodium injection or clindamycin phosphate injection, along with wet compresses of ravenol solution 2 times/day for 20 minutes/time. After the dressing, clindamycin phosphate gel can be applied to the acne and pustules, and fusidic acid ointment can be applied to the broken areas twice/day for treatment.
