The difference between early syphilis and glans is mainly manifested in the nature, clinical manifestations and treatment modalities. 1. Different nature: glans is an inflammatory reaction, usually caused by bacterial stimulation; while syphilis is a sexually transmitted infectious disease caused by syphilis spirochete infection. 2. Clinical manifestations are different: glans is usually manifested in the appearance of itching, erythema and other symptoms; manifested in the symptoms of urinary tract infections, such as frequent urination, urinary urgency, urinary pain, as well as the glans is red, swollen and painful. Symptoms of syphilis are related to the period in which it occurs, with stage 1 syphilis being the chancre and stage 2 syphilis being primarily a syphilis rash. The chancre of stage 1 syphilis can occur as a single or multiple shallow ulcers on the glans, with purulent secretions on the surface and a hard texture to the touch, requiring blood tests for syphilis antibodies and confirmatory tests for syphilis in order to make a correct diagnosis. 3. Treatment is different, glans is generally the use of anti-inflammatory drugs for treatment, and syphilis treatment is mostly preferred penicillin drugs for treatment. It is recommended that patients go to regular hospitals, specialized departments, and seek the help, examination and diagnosis of specialist doctors.
