How to review after stenting a cerebral aneurysm

After stenting of cerebral aneurysm, blood indexes and cerebral angiography generally need to be reviewed regularly.
1. Blood indexes: for example, reviewing the thromboelastography and adjusting the dose of double antidote (aspirin and clopidogrel) according to the result in order to prevent overdose of drugs causing intracranial hemorrhagic disease or underdose of drugs causing stent thrombosis.
2. Cerebral angiography: Generally, patients need to review cerebral angiography between six months to one year after cerebral aneurysm stenting to observe whether there is still blood flow in the aneurysm, whether the occlusion is good, whether the stent position and function are good, and whether there is any new-onset aneurysm or other cerebral vascular diseases in the cranium.
If you do not feel any abnormality during the recovery period after stenting of cerebral aneurysm, you only need to follow the doctor’s instructions to take medication regularly and have regular checkups as scheduled. If any discomfort occurs, such as dizziness, headache, limb weakness, etc., you must go to the hospital for examination and timely treatment.
