Are ovarian cysts with blood flow signals malignant?

The presence of blood flow signals in ovarian cysts is not necessarily malignant.
Ovarian cysts are cystic structures that form in or on the surface of the ovary. Some are physiologic cysts that can subside on their own, while others require treatment. Most cystic ovarian masses detected by ultrasound may be benign, and are not necessarily malignant if they show blood flow signals.
If the ovarian cyst grows rapidly, if an ovarian cyst develops in a postmenopausal woman, or if a cystic or solid mass is detected on ultrasound, it suggests the possibility of a malignant tumor. However, whether or not it is ultimately a malignant tumor requires pathologic examination after surgical removal to make a definitive diagnosis.
Patients with ovarian cysts are advised to go to regular hospitals in time, complete relevant examinations, clarify the cause of the disease under the guidance of the doctor, and target treatment.
