Can you use compound aminobarbital while breastfeeding?

Compound aminobarbital should not be used during breastfeeding. Compound aminobarbital contains aminobarbital, antipyrine, and barbiturates, of which barbiturates are central inhibitors. Using this drug during breastfeeding, if the drug is secreted with breast milk and ingested into the body of the baby, it may produce undesirable central inhibitory effects, and in severe cases, it may even affect the baby’s respiration, so don’t use compound aminobarbital during breastfeeding. Compound aminobarbital can be used clinically for pain relief as well as fever reduction. Relatively safe fever reducers and pain relievers during breastfeeding include ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If you are breastfeeding, it is important to refrain from breastfeeding for at least 1-2 days after taking the medication to avoid adverse effects on your baby.
