What is the anesthesia for tonsil surgery

Considering from the clinical experience, the mainstream anesthesia mode nowadays is general anesthesia + intubation, and some patients can be taken under surface anesthesia + local infiltration anesthesia for tonsil stripping surgery, or squeeze excision.
Tonsil surgery, also known as tonsillectomy, is clinically indicated for recurrent episodes of chronic tonsillitis, or combined with immune system complications, such as combined chronic nephritis, endocarditis, arthritis and other conditions. Or due to over-enlargement of tonsils, causing snoring, open-mouth breathing, upper airway obstruction, and so on.
From clinical experience, tonsillectomy is performed under general anesthesia. During the operation, electric knife or low temperature plasma can be used to remove tonsils and stop bleeding. In some adult patients, under surface anesthesia + local infiltration anesthesia, tonsil peeling surgery can be performed to remove the tonsils. Or tonsil extrusion surgery is performed to remove the tonsils.
After the surgery, you need to pay attention to diet and rest, avoid strenuous exercise, to prevent trauma bleeding.
