6-year-old baby height and weight standards

The height and weight standards of 6-year-old babies need to be judged separately according to gender: 1. 6-year-old male babies: the average height is around 117.7cm and the average weight is about 21.26kg. if the male baby is between this average, it belongs to the normal range, which means that the height and weight growth of children are normal; 2. 6-year-old female babies: the average height of the baby is between 116.6cm and the average weight is about 20.37kg. If a 6-year-old baby’s height and weight can reach this standard, it means that the baby’s growth and development is similar to that of children of the same age. On the contrary, if the baby’s height or weight does not reach the average level, we should consider whether there are pathological factors such as insufficient secretion of growth hormone, hypothyroidism, or malnutrition, etc. We should promptly visit the pediatric endocrinology department of the hospital and intervene to treat the specific causes. If malnutrition is the cause, the baby should be given more fish, shrimp, eggs, milk and other high quality proteins, and be allowed to exercise more. If it is caused by growth hormone deficiency, the baby should be treated with artificial growth hormone replacement.
