What is the reason for the pain when the foot is on the ground

If a patient experiences pain when the foot is stepped on the ground, it may be due to several reasons: first, there may be an injury related to the foot, for example, the patient has some serious soft tissue blunt contusion or fracture here, or some inadvertent puncture injury like stepping on a peg, which can lead to the above symptoms. Second, it may be caused by an infection here, such as a serious tissue gap bacterial infection in the patient’s foot, or the presence of gangrene, which often leads to such symptoms. Third, it is common for patients to develop severe arthritis in the foot, such as osteoarthritis of the first metatarsophalangeal joint or gouty arthritis, which may lead to similar symptoms.
