Can Alzheimer’s be cured in the early stages?

Early stages of Alzheimer’s disease, if treated promptly and correctly, may prevent the disease from progressing and improve symptoms, but it cannot be cured. Dementia is also known as Alzheimer’s disease, and patients may experience a decline in memory function in the early stages of the disease, with a marked decline in near memory and a relative preservation of distant memory. Patients may also experience psychiatric symptoms, such as hallucinations and delusions, forgetting phone numbers, forgetting to turn off the gas, forgetting the names of acquaintances, saying the same things over and over again, and asking the same questions over and over again. As the disease worsens, cognitive dysfunction may occur, and in advanced stages, complete cognitive loss may occur, resulting in an inability to take care of oneself, which may eventually lead to the patient being accompanied by others.
