There is a foreign body sensation when swallowing something in the throat. The following diseases are common clinically: 1. Chronic pharyngitis, which is more common clinically, but patients have a more pronounced foreign body sensation when swallowing saliva, and a less pronounced foreign body sensation when eating instead. It may be a foreign body in the pharynx caused by the lymphatic follicles at the root of the tongue, as well as the lymphatic follicles at the back wall of the pharynx that have proliferated significantly. Through symptomatic treatment treatment of pharyngitis, the condition of most patients can be relieved.2. Foreign bodies in the pharynx commonly include tonsillar papilloma, tonsillar cyst, pendulous mass, tongue root papilloma, tongue root ectasia, thyroid gland, posterior pharyngeal wall papilloma, epiglottis cyst and other diseases that cause patients to have foreign body sensation when swallowing something. Individual patients with cancers such as hypopharyngeal carcinoma may also experience foreign body sensation in the pharynx. 3. If patients still have foreign body sensation in the pharynx after excluding organic lesions through relevant examinations, it may be induced by factors such as psychological anxiety and unhealthy psychology of patients.
