The five-year survival rate of early and middle stage liver cancer is about 40%~70% after treatment by surgery and embolization. Liver cancer is a malignant tumor caused by various factors such as hepatitis virus, alcohol, obesity, etc. For early and mid-stage liver cancer patients who can tolerate surgery, radical surgical resection is the most common treatment; for those who are unsuitable for surgery and have small lesions, radiofrequency ablation and microwave ablation can be used. In addition, target therapy (sorafenib, lenvatinib, etc.) and immunotherapy (atelizumab) can be adopted for the treatment of mid-stage liver cancer. After active treatment, patients can obtain a five-year survival rate of about 40%~70%. Pay attention to regular post-operative review as prescribed by the doctor; quit smoking and drinking; maintain a healthy weight; and do not consume aflatoxin-containing foods, such as moldy peanuts and soybeans.
