General fractures, such as spinal fractures or fractures of the upper and lower limbs, can walk on the ground after 2 months if the fracture has reached clinical healing. However, there are two fractures that should be noted: 1) femoral neck fracture, conservative treatment or internal fixation with threaded nails, must be 3 months after the operation before getting down to the ground; 2) tibial plateau collapsed fracture, with bone grafting, must be 2.5-3 months before getting down to the ground. But no matter which kind of fracture, you must review the X-ray before you can walk on the ground, and be able to see that there is a blurring of the fracture line, periosteal reaction, or there is a growth of bone scab before you can walk on the ground.
